“I don’t take the time to compose these kind of letters unless the situation is truly compelling and this one is. I relocated from Kentucky to Minneapolis for First Bank with a start date of last August. You and I worked on finding an existing home for months and I could never find the floor plan I was looking for and opted to build with Orrin Thompson in Plymouth. Besides being very congenial, good company and knowing everyone and his brother, you never made me feel that the time spent was being burdensome (and I half expected you to each time we went out on an extended listing search). However, the real service was in the input you made with my new construction: You suggested a floor plan change that made our home more open and also unique to the builder’s offerings. We now can walk from our family room into our living room (where the original plans called for a wall and closet) increasing the spaciousness of our home by 100%. You caught the fact that our garage was going to be only 20’ long and with your “across the table stare” we got the builder to throw on another 2 feet (without those two feet, we wouldn’t be able to open the swing gate on our Nissan Pathfinder). Lastly, upon the walk-through, you caught the fact that the builder had substantially undersized the butler pantry passageway (without your input there we wouldn’t be able to carry a dinner platter into the dining room!) The builder has now widened the opening.
Obviously, your input was a godsend in all three cases. You did a great job for us! “
